This course will explore the various aspects of Christian Ministry with particular attention to pastoral/congregational ministries and the missional nature of the church in the 21^st century.Course texts, focused on spiritual development and ministry studies, will encourage students to explore social situations of ministry sites along with the social and spiritual shaping of students= identities as ministers.Students will engage in theological reflection through practicing traditional spiritual disciplines.Class presentations and on-line discussions, specific readings, small group work, and development of a ministry site study are designed to assist the student to understand ministry as multifaceted in nature and complex in social location.
